Celebrate Trails Day Ride – Ian’s Ride
Join us on Saturday, April 25 for Celebrate Trails Day as we roll together along the Olympic Discovery Trail — a day dedicated to community, accessibility, and the power of trails to bring people together.
This annual, nationwide event led by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy highlights how trails connect communities, expand access, and create welcoming spaces for people of all abilities. That mission is at the heart of Ian’s Ride — making sure everyone has the opportunity to get outside, be active, and feel included.
We’re proud to host this ride in partnership with the Peninsula Trails Coalition and Rails-to-Trails Conservancy — the folks doing the steady, behind-the-scenes work to build and care for trails like the Olympic Discovery Trail.

CAN’T MAKE IT? YOU CAN STILL CELEBRATE
If you’re not able to join us in Sequim, we hope you’ll still take part in Celebrate Trails Day wherever you are. Head out for a walk, ride, or roll on a trail near you — even a short outing counts.
It’s a simple way to support the movement: use the trails, share the experience, and be part of the growing community that values accessible outdoor spaces.
WHY IT MATTERS
Trails like the ODT don’t happen by accident. They exist because people invest time, energy, and resources into building something that benefits everyone. Celebrate Trails Day is a chance to experience that impact firsthand — and to support the work that keeps these spaces growing.
For Ian’s Ride, it’s also about community. Every mile is a reminder that access matters, and that we’re stronger when we create spaces where everyone can participate.
