WHERE? Redmond Whole Foods, 17991 NE. Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052
QUESTIONS? Denise323@me.com
This year ride Lake Sammamish is going to be a little different than most due to some trail closures along the East Lake Sammamish trail. Instead we are going to ride north Along the Sammamish Lake trail For about 8 1/2 miles and finish at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery.
Come join us on October 1 around 11 AM at the Whole Foods in Redmond. We’ll enjoy a coffee and a snack for an hour and then head out on the trail promptly at noon. We are excited to connect with like-minded individuals and explore this beautiful trail. We generally travel around 5 mph, which is generally the speed of the slower wheelchairs.
We will head off from the Redmond Whole Foods heading North for about 8.5 miles to Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery where we will catch a shuttle back to the starting point where some of us may enjoy an evening meal and a beverage. If 8.5 miles is more than you'd like to ride, we will have a shuttle that could pick you up at the ~2 mile mark, where we will have an aid station at the Marymoor Park tennis courts, or the 5.5-mile mark, Where we will have an aid station At the sixty acre soccer fields. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Denise Smith-Irwin will be leading the ride and you can direct any questions to her email Denise323@me.com
Snacks, drinks and a restroom are available at each aid station as well as an opportunity to shuttle back to your vehicle.
